In 1906, entrepreneur O.W. Gurley purchased 40 acres of land in North Tulsa, Oklahoma, and established the first businesses on what would become Greenwood Avenue. Gurley began by building a rooming house and grocery store to serve newly arriving Black settlers.

His early investments laid the foundation for what educator and leader Booker T. Washington famously called “Negro Wall Street,” later known worldwide as Black Wall Street.

The design features vintage architecture that seamlessly melts into modern skyline energy. Gold framing, diamond-inspired detailing, Pan-African accents, and elevated plaque aesthetics create a statement piece that feels both historic and ahead of its time.
